Abstract
The paralogism is not an argumentative pattern meant to push the
interlocuter to be convinced of the validity of a belief or the creation,
modification, or fixation of a certain behavior. It is instead exploited by the
fallacious to achieve personal goals. paralogism is not intended to show the
truth, But to find ways to render the error as the truth, the invalid as the real,
and to fool the other.
This article aims to reveal the methods of paralogism in the American
political discourse. It takes US President Donald Trump speeches on the
occasion of his decision to transfer his country's embassy to Jerusalem its
