Tag in the school dictionary
Main Article Content
Abstract
ough many studies have focused on the ancient and contemporary Arabic
dictionaries. This may be due to the fact that the lexicographers themselves have
neglected this aspect in designing their dictionaries. In fact, both the school
dictionaries and those designed for researchers show this aspect, since we note the
absence in the classification of the Arabic dictionaries of an important share of the
tagging conception which characterize the entries and their ranking. In fact, some
tags are absent and others are misleading.
This research focuses on this aspect which is neglected in the classification by
dealing with tagging which is most of the time related to the lexical entry.
