Abstract
This small treatise is unique, funny, and of great importance. It combines language and literature. Its author, Abu Bakr Taqi al-Din Ibn Hajjah, wrote it and called it (the course of precedents), and no one had been able to publish it before.
It was stated in the Islamic Encyclopedia that there is only one copy of it in Gotha and it was defined as follows: The Maghār al-Sawabiq contains poems by Ibn Hajjah and Ibn Nubatah describing horses.
