Role of Textual Linguistics in Didactics of Translation
Main Article Content
Abstract
Undoubtedly, globalization has resulted in an increasing demand on
translation to transfer sciences and technology, which led scholars to consider
this practice and investigate its process, procedures and models, especially
with its integration in the curricula. However, many models are adopted in
translation teaching at university, this is why we thought it convenient to
devote this research to explore one of these models, i.e text linguistics. This
study seeks to show how text linguistics can be exploited in the didactics of
translation and see to what extent it can serve it.
