Lexicographic definitions between theorization and practice

Abstract
The Arabic language - due to its extension over time - has experienced
changes in the meaning of part of its vocabulary, as well as neologisms,
this research focuses on the problematic of the formulation of the definition
in modern dictionaries, which we are trying to approach by comparing its
theoretical aspect in the introductions of these dictionaries, and the drafting
of the definition itself, in order to highlight some problems that have arisen
in this practice and have complicated the task of the lexicographer.
