Abstract

The Arabic lexical industry in its different types has known a great deal by the Arab researchers as well as those of occidental.

This industry has well studied and analyzed most of the dictionaries but has marginalized those built up by some orientalist.

This research aims at expliciting the efforts made by some orientalist within Arabic lexical industry. Especially those not well known dictionaries as that of “Med El Kamous” by the German orientalist “Lyn”.

 This dictionary is so special in the field of the lexical industry in its bilingualism method. This search then would answer a so vital problematic that is: what is the methodology applied in this dictionary (bilingual)? What is its position within the others made by orientalist?
