Abstract
These are the methods of developing scientific terms and their methods of derivation. I try to
analyze the use of these concepts in the writings of the Arab terminologists including the notions of
wadhaa and tawlid on the one hand and the tariqa and wassila on the other hand, following the use
of these terms in the writings Arabic terminologists, based on concrete examples.
